Become a Cashiers Leaf Keeper 🍂

Join the fun, hide hand-painted wooden leaves during your assigned week to bring the fall magic to life in our Falling For Cashiers campaign. Want in? Register and pay the $50 registration fee by Friday, August 15 using the Sponsor Registration button ↗️

We will spotlight our Leaf Keepers on our social media channels during the campaign.

🍁 How the Falling For Cashiers Leaf Hunt Works
October 18 – November 10

For three weeks this fun scavenger hunt will showcase what makes Cashiers special and encourage locals and visitors to explore our community. A select group of local businesses and organizations will play “Leaf Keeper” by hiding the hand-painted leaves somewhere in their shop, office, or location.

When a visitor or resident—our “Leaf Peepers”—find a hidden leaf:

     🍂 The Leaf Keeper takes a quick photo with the Leaf Peeper.

     🍂 They post the photo to Facebook or Instagram, tagging @cashiersareachamber and their business.

     🍂 The Leaf Keeper gives the Leaf Peeper a small treat—like a sweet snack, fun freebie, or special discount!

     🍂 The Leaf Peeper can keep the leaf they find if they want.

🎉 Grand Prize Drawing

Each Leaf Peeper who finds a leaf and tags @cashiersareachamber will be entered to win:

  • A Scenic Waterfall Cruise for Four with Captain Mark Wise ($350 value)

  • A Chamber SWAG Bag full of goodies from local favorites

The winner will be drawn at the Chamber’s Spirit of Our Community Awards banquet on Thursday, November 13. The winner must attend the banquet or send someone in their place to claim the prize.
