You will develop leadership skills\, learn to work as a team\, and learn to prevent\, plan for and respond to emergencies. At the end of the course you will be certified in American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid for two years.\nTopics Covered :\n-first aid kits\n-primary and secondary assessment\n-evacuation and calling for help\n-shock and heart attack\n-chest injury\n-head and neck injury\n-allergy and anaphylaxis\n-wounds and bleeding\n-bone and joint injury\n-burns\n-hypothermia and heat related illness\n-lightening and drowning\nReasons to Take Course : This certification is great for anyone who hikes/backpacks\, paddles\, camps\, hunts\, mountain bikes\, for those who work at summer camps\, for someone going into the medical field\, for someone who is planning on going on a medical mission trip\, or anyone who wants to be able to help when EMS is delayed due to circumstances or distance.
