Paint and Sip: Winter Scene
Friday, December 4, 2026 (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (EST)
Description

As the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau settles into its quiet season, spend a December evening in the studio with good company, a glass of wine, and a fresh canvas. Caryn Raming, Community Engagement Associate and one of The Bascom’s year-round teaching artists, guides you step by step through painting a winter scene, from the first layers of background color to the final details.
No experience is needed. Caryn breaks the painting into manageable stages and keeps the pace relaxed, so first-time painters and returning hobbyists alike leave with a finished piece to take home. With the class limited to eight participants, there is plenty of one-on-one guidance and plenty of room to enjoy the friends you bring along.
The evening falls during the Holiday Market season and the night before the Holiday Market reception on December 5, making it an easy way to start the first weekend of December in Highlands. Wine and all supplies are included.
$140 per person | Limited to eight participants
All skill levels welcome
Registration closes Tuesday, December 1, at 4 p.m.
Friday, December 4, 2026 | 4–7 p.m.
