Opening film of the Film Fest Prelude. The Best Documentary winner at the 2026 Highlands-Cashiers Film Festival returns. The film follows the closing of the Canton paper mill and what it means for the people of Haywood County and Western North Carolina. Directed by Jeremy Seifert and Benjamin James Roberts; executive produced by Grammy-winning musician Dave Matthews. It also won Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Feature Filmmaking at the Boston Film Festival and Best Cinematography at the Charlotte Film Festival.
