Join us in welcoming The Deep Shallow Band to the Commons Stage! The Deep Shallow Band’s music is often described as “Southern soul rock and roll” reminiscent of the Allman Brothers Band and The Black Crowes. Their musical chemistry, talent, and camaraderie shine through during their energetic performances and on their new album, “Copy and Paste,” released in the spring of 2023. The band has entertained an enthusiastic following throughout North Carolina since 2014 and would love to see you at their next show. 

Groovin’ on The Green is FREE and takes place rain or shine on the Commons Lawn at The Village Green. Food and beverage vendors will be available at each concert and concert-goers are welcome to bring their own picnics and coolers. Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets; personal tents are not allowed at Groovin’.

Groovin’ on The Green is free and open to the public, however, donations are collected to directly support The Village Green, a 501c3 nonprofit park system that relies on grants and donations to offer our programming. Your donation helps keep Groovin’ on The Green alive year after year!
