This May, in honor of Thomas Taulbee and his incredible legacy of kindness, the Cashiers Area Chamber is launching a new initiative inspired by a conversation with Tim Womick, and with input and approval from his sister Susan, we are moving forward with the First Annual Thomas Taulbee Kindness Challenge—a community-wide effort to encourage and celebrate acts of kindness throughout the month of May, with a special emphasis on Thomas’ birthday, May 24. The heart of this initiative will be a social media campaign where community members share their acts of kindness, tagging and collaborating with those closest to Thomas to spread his spirit even further.
