Description
Nutrition and exercise are only part of what it means to live well. The attitudes, mental frameworks, and patterns of communication we carry into our daily lives also shape our health and well-being. Just as nourishing food and physical movement strengthen the body, compassionate and mindful communication strengthens our relationships and emotional health.
Join Fusion House for a healthy, refreshing “workout” for your communication practices. Together, we will explore ways to cultivate greater self-awareness, empathy, connection, and emotional resilience in both our inner dialogue and our conversations with others.
Guiding this “emotional gymnasium” is Zemo Trevathan, an Executive Coach and trainer with more than three decades of experience drawing from multiple disciplines, including the transformative work of Marshall Rosenberg and his system of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
Through discussion, reflection, and practical exercises, participants will learn tools for:
Listening with empathy and presence
Expressing needs and feelings with clarity
Reducing conflict and reactive communication
Deepening compassion for self and others
Increasing ability to influence
Building healthier, more authentic relationships
